When duets form, it’s usually the result of strong outside forces. For Tammy Paoletti and Ken Moores that force was a fundraiser
event in 2008 that cemented their passion for playing music and compelled them to start a partnership that carried on the legacy of time-honored rock, blues and country classics.

Tammy hadn’t even stepped in front of a microphone until she was 28 years old. Originally from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, her first time singing experience before an audience immediately had her hooked on live performing. Her rich but delicate voice brings to mind artists like Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt.

Ken had developed a lifelong love and passion for music nurtured by his talented family. His parents, both ministers, raised him on gospel but his early influences also included the Everly Brothers, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Peter, Paul and Mary, Simon and Garfunkel and just about anything he could get his little ears on. He grew up in Toronto Canada in the late 60’s and early 70’s with the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell and Neal Young to listen to.

Ranging from covers of gospel and country to rock and blues, as well as original tunes, Tammy and Ken quickly established themselves as one of central Florida’s premier acts. With a focus on tight harmonies they deliver rich interpretations of classic duets ranging from Johnny Cash and June Carter (Jackson) to Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock (Picture). But they also solo in their own styles with Tammy giving goose-bump renditions of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and R and B (Chain of Fools) to Ken’s raspy-throated Joe Cocker and John Fogarty to sweet-sounding Marty Robbins and Roy Orbison. It is apparent that Tammy and Ken’s love and respect for the music we all grew up with will continue to thrill and delight Florida’s space coast audiences for many years to come.

Tammy Paoletti

Originally from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, I never stood in front of a microphone until I was almost 28 years old. Never had the opportunity, or the confidence . . . but once I started, I was officially hooked. My original band played different venues throughout Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia, including Rainbow Road, where a portion of the movie Sweet Dreams was filmed.
